Visa process & support
Admitted students apply for a New Zealand Fee-Paying Student visa via Immigration New Zealand (INZ). Visa fee: NZD 850 (~USD 510). Processing takes 4-9 weeks; approval rate for Indian students runs around 59-65% (2025-26 data) - weak financial proof and unclear study intent are the most common rejection reasons. Financial proof required: full first-year tuition plus NZD 20,000/year (~USD 11,992/year) living costs. International students can work up to 25 hours/week during term and full-time during scheduled breaks; spouses/partners can work full-time. After graduation, a Post-Study Work Visa of up to 3 years with open work rights is available.
